I. Hold Fast to the Lord Your God (23:1-16)

1. What can we learn from the fact that it took a long time to win the promised land? (1) Who had won the promised land? (2-3) What were they to do with the remaining nations in the promised land? (4-5)

2. What were they not to do with the nations that remained? (6-8) When the Lord fights for us what happens? (9-11) How does the Lord fight for us now? (Eph. 6:10-18)
