I. Ezra Devoted Himself (7:1-10)

1. When was it? (1-5) Who is this about? (6) What did he do? What is noted about him? (10) Why?

2. What happened during the seventh year of King Artaxerxes reign? (7-9) Who was with those who returned? Even though all could go why might not have some chosen to go?

II. In Accordance with the Wisdom of God (7:11-28)

3. What did the king give Ezra to bring with him? (11-12) What did he allow? (13-14)

4. What else did the king allow Ezra to take with him? (15-17) What else was they given? (18-20) What can be learned about the Lord?

5. What did the king decree in regard to those who had tried to stop the building of the temple? (21-22) What did the king proclaim was his reason for making this decree?
