1. Note the theme about which Paul doesn't mind being repetitious. (1) Why does he keep repeating this? Why is it important for a Christian to rejoice in all circumstances?

2. Who are the dogs about whom Paul warns? (2) Why does he use such strong language?

3. Who are the true circumcision? (3) Why?

4. What are the human achievements and background in which Paul might find human pride and confidence? (4-6)
