I. Time of Hosea's Call (1:1)

1. Who did the word of the Lord come to? (1) When was his ministry?

II. Hosea's Wife (1:2-3)

2. What did the Lord tell Hosea to do at the beginning of his ministry? (2) What thoughts must have gone through Hosea's mind? Did he obey? (3)

3. Why was Hosea to do this? What did he know would happen if Israel didn't repent? What can be learned about a life of faith and obedience to the Lord?

III. Hosea's Three Children (1:4-2:1)
